Summary, etc. Era il 1508 quando Michelangelo, poco più che trentenne, iniziò a lavorare al gruppo di affreschi della Cappella Sistina. In quello che potrebbe sembrare un manifesto pittorico del cristianesimo e della Chiesa cattolica, però, l'artista ha inserito simboli inaspettati. Perché l'albero del Bene e del Male è un fico, e non un melo? Perché il serpente tentatore ha cosce e braccia, come descritto nei testi ebraici? Stimolati da queste e altre "coincidenze", gli autori - uno storico dell'arte e un esperto di Talmud - ci mostrano il messaggio rivoluzionario celato in quelle immagini, gettando nuova luce sul profilo del genio ribelle.
